CDVIP Class Facilitator Mission Statement:
In collaboration with local partners and all affected by abuse, TTD creates innovative responses and mobilizes our community to promote safety and challenge systems of oppression and violence.
Job Summary:
The CDVIP (Certified Domestic Violence Intervention Program) Class Facilitator is responsible for providing TTD's violence intervention program activities to achieve its mission related to the issues of domestic abuse, dating violence, human trafficking, and stalking. This is a part-time (flexible) hourly position based out of TTD's Training Center in Portland, ME with some work in the community and travel required. Prior experience and training are an advantage, though TTD values life experiences and provides comprehensive training for all new employees to fully perform advocacy functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Using the Duluth Model for batterer's programs provide TTD's certified violence intervention program classes.
  • Maintain knowledge of Maine's Department of Corrections Certified Domestic Violence Intervention Program Standards for pursuant to 19- A M.R.S.A §4014. Essential Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

  • This position is seeking a male identified facilitator in compliance with the Maine Department of Corrections. Pay and Benefits
  • $21.54 per hour
  • Medical, dental, life and long-term disability insurance provided at no-cost for the employee to full-time employees.
