Job Description

The Role The LSA Mentorship Program pairs current LSA undergraduates with LSA alums in a 1-1 match to support students as they activate the alum network to advance their career development. As the Mentorship Program Manager, you will lead the LSA Mentorship Program and develop growth strategies to ensure LSA students have access to career mentorship. You will deliver an inclusive, impactful experience that connects students and alum, expands access for historically underserved populations, and supports students' career exploration and professional development. You are an experienced project manager who can balance strategic partnership-building with the daily operations of managing a mentorship network. The Mentorship Program Manager is someone who brings experience with student development, a forward-thinking growth mindset, and a collaborative spirit. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3-5 years of progressively responsible professional experience. Demonstrated experience managing student-facing programs, including design, implementation, and evaluation. Project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and execute complex initiatives. 1+ years of experience analyzing data to assess program effectiveness and inform improvements. Demonstrated experience communicating across diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information from various stakeholders and strategically connect it to make strategic recommendations or connections. Experience in higher education, alum engagement, student support, mentorship, or career development. Experience designing and facilitating a mentorship program or other educational experiences for students, including coaching, advising, mentoring, or teaching. Proficiency using digital tools, databases, CRMs, or project management platforms to document engagement activities, manage outreach efforts, and support strategic decision-making. Proven track record of supporting inclusive environments and expanding access for individuals from diverse backgrounds. This position is included in the bargaining unit represented by the University Staff United (USU), which represents bargaining unit members in all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
