Program Manager 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars Chelsea, MI 48118 Full-time Hatch Stamping Company 231 reviews Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Program Manager to lead and coordinate programs across our precision metal stamping and assemblies operations. In this role, you will be the central point of contact between our customers, internal teams, and suppliers — ensuring every program launches successfully, runs efficiently, and continuously improves What You'll Do Own program/product launches end-to-end — ensuring quality, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, and manufacturing feasibility. Manage, track, and communicate program performance to internal personnel, customers, and suppliers to maintain alignment on goals and progress. Serve as the corporate liaison between internal departments, suppliers, and customers to resolve program-related issues quickly and effectively. Document all essential internal and external program communications using PM tools, including PM spreadsheets and
PLEX ERP.
Lead and manage the processing of Internal Change Form (ICF) requests, ensuring timely implementation and communication of changes. Lead and participate in prototype builds, validating manufacturing feasibility and adherence to program objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives — proactively identifying opportunities to enhance processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. What We're Looking For 3+ years of program or project management experience in a manufacturing environment (metal stamping, tool & die, or similar preferred). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. Experience using ERP systems (PLEX experience a plus) and program management tools/spreadsheets. Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and other automotive/manufacturing quality processes. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills — comfortable presenting to customers, suppliers, and senior leadership. Proven ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive resolution across cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred — or equivalent hands-on experience.
