21 June 2026 Summary TGTG is seeking a qualified APAS Instructor to support Aerospace Studies instruction and AFROTC cadet development activities at Michigan State University. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct Aerospace Studies classroom instruction Mentor cadets in leadership and officer development programs Support Leadership Laboratory and cadet PT activities Maintain cadet records and administrative documentation Assist with scholarship processing and enrollment functions Support AFOQT administration and cadet evaluations Utilize WINGS and related AFROTC systems for required reporting Support recruiting and outreach activities at the university and community level Participate in inspections and operational readiness activities Coordinate with detachment staff and university stakeholders Minimum Qualifications Prior United States Air Force Commissioned Officer Honorable discharge from military service Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Active AFSC held during military service Experience teaching, mentoring, instructing, or training personnel Ability to support physical training and outdoor activities Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to obtain CAC eligibility and pass background investigation CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to start date Preferred Qualifications Master's degree preferred Prior AFROTC or military instructional experience Experience with cadet mentorship and leadership development Experience with WINGS or AFROTC systems Recruiting or outreach experience I created a full TGTG-formatted set of job descriptions for all 10 AFRISS APAS Instructor positions, including: Position-specific locations TGTG company overview Summary sections Essential Duties & Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Priority/Master's distinctions where applicable The Det 420 University of Minnesota Duluth role is clearly marked with the mandatory Master's requirement and elevated importance.
