Program Coordinator 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 38800 Country Club Drive, Farmington Hills, MI 48331 From $52,000 a year - Full-time American Concrete Institute 16 reviews From $52,000 a year - Full-time The ACI Foundation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), is looking for a Program Coordinator to provide clerical, administrative and marketing support to the ACI Foundation staff and its programs, including fundraising. The ACI Foundation boasts a small and hardworking team. The program coordinator will be one of five staff that report to the Foundation's Executive Director. You will also have the advantage of working with a larger ACI support team including event planning, expanded communication services, publishing, and information technology. The ACI Foundation supports ACI and the concrete industry by raising funds to administer grants for student scholarships, concrete research, and new technology and innovation. We are looking for a responsive, responsible, and organized individual to help the ACI Foundation reach its overall goals of financial sustainability, building the future of the concrete industry and creating lasting community relationships with donors, beneficiaries of our grants, and board and council members. A Program Coordinator will provide much needed support to expand growth and development of the ACI Foundation programs.
Essential Job functions include:
Assist Program Managers and the Executive Director in program administration and coordination, including support to Fundraising and Marketing Managers Generate various reports Populate and maintain content for various spreadsheets and databases Reconciliation of donor, project, student applicant, distribution, and event registration lists Respond to or filter internal and external inquiries Assist with creating, maintaining and documenting various processes Help edit and maintain the website, including posting various documents Help create and maintain various forms, checklists, and information Prepare and distribute various correspondence, including acknowledgments, and notifications Create and issue payment requests and various certificates Help organize and coordinate conferences, meetings, workshops, and other events Assist in developing and editing presentation Assist with creating, editing, and proofreading program content for marketing and promotion activities Miscellaneous projects as assignedRequirements:
3 to 5 years of office administration and/or customer service experience Nonprofit/association experience helpful Strong skills in MS Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Ability to operate standard office equipment such as telephone, computer, photocopier, and scanner Familiarity with database systems and report-generating software Familiarity with Association Management Software preferred Basic HTML skills are a plus Capacity to learn and utilize new computer programs, software, and systems May be required to travel to attend conventions, trade shows, off-site meetings, industry conferences, training events, or other business-related events which could involve multi-day or multi-week overnight travel. The individual in this role will be expected to work at ACI headquarters full time. The successful candidate will have the following attributes: Able to take initiative, prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Must be highly organized Flexibility and willingness to take on new projects and tasks Must have strong attention to detail Desire to provide excellent customer service Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain discretion and confidentiality Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally High level of proofing and editing skills Accurate recordkeeping skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Able to effectively apply knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments Foreign language skills may be beneficial We offer:- Competitive wages and comprehensive health insurance program.
