Job Description

Program Coordinator 373 Lakeside Drive, Grass Lake, MI 49240 From $17 an hour - Part-time From $17 an hour - Part-time Position Overview Under the direction and guidance of the Executive Director, the successful candidate is responsible for a wide range of administrative duties and activities management. Duties
  • Serve members and visitors of the senior center with courtesy and respect.
  • Responsible for planning, implementing, scheduling, and evaluating programs.
  • Monthly newsletter printing and distribution
  • Ensure set up and take down of daily activities.
  • Social Media Management
  • Organize and maintain files and records.
  • Coordinate events and luncheons.
  • Manages filing system.
  • Entering paperwork into an electronic system by data entry
  • Maintains security of confidential information.
  • Recruits and manages volunteers
  • Occasional weekend availability
  • Availability two nights per week
  • All other appropriate duties as requested by the Executive Director Qualifications
  • Prefer some college.
  • One year working with the senior population (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Internet and proficiency with Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, QuickBooks, Publisher, and Canva
  • Familiarity with social media
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Office organizational skills
  • Possesses time management skills to set priorities, coordinate activities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to relate to seniors with understanding and compassion.
  • A positive attitude
  • Must be able to lift to twenty-five to fifty pounds. Licenses and Certification
  • Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license or ID card.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Desirable certifications: CPR, AED and first aid. Benefits
