Job Description

Seeking a management support professional to work closely with the Recipient Rights Director to coordinate responses to customer concerns. Position is based in our Hartford office and may become remote hybrid following successful training. The Recipient Rights Specialist will assist to coordinate office functions and ensure efficient operations and compliance with Rights requirements. Documents and processes recipient rights complaints and inquires. Collects and tracks data, prepares reports, and conducts reviews related to the functions of the Recipient Rights Office. Requires frequent travel throughout Van Buren County and across region to attend trainings and perform provider site reviews. Exercises discretion and uses appropriate, independent judgment on matters pertaining to essential functions.
Requires:
High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Advanced computer skills to effectively use a variety of computer programs to do data and work processing, develop forms, track data and produce reports. Strong organizational and communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with individuals who may be upset or have communication difficulties. Ability to successfully attend and complete Recipient Rights trainings and meetings as assigned, which may include out of town and multi-day trainings. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time. Valid Michigan driver's license to provide services in community locations which may or may not be barrier-free. Position is full-time (37.5 hours per week).
