0 Position Purpose The Youth Enrichment Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the Youth Enrichment Programs by coordinating various activities, maintaining program attendance, and ensuring adherence to policies and protocols. The Youth Enrichment Associate will work collaboratively with the Youth Enrichment Coordinator, Program and Data Coordinator, and Program Director to deliver high-quality programming for youth participants. With a focus on administrative duties and a deep understanding of justice-oriented initiatives, the Associate spearheads efforts to support the overarching mission and objectives of Rootead Enrichment Center, and specifically, the Youth Enrichment Branch. - Coordinate the needs of Youth Enrichment Programs, including scheduling, logistics, and resource management.
- Maintain accurate records of youth program attendance and adhere to Youth Enrichment policies and protocols using key computer applications.
- Collaborate effectively with the team to plan and implement program activities.
- Collect and analyze data related to Youth Enrichment programs to inform decision-making and program improvement.
- Routinely transport youth participants using agency-approved vehicles and must maintain an acceptable driving record throughout employment. Ensuring the safety and well-being of participants, including but not limited to, rehearsals, events, conferences, youth homes, etc.
- Facilitate and support Youth Enrichment programs such as Rootead Youth Drum and Dance Ensemble (RYDDE), Rootead In Youth (RIY), and Rootead Youth Ambassadors (RYA), including but not limited to, choreography and costume coordination for RYDDE performances.
- Communicate effectively with youth participants and their families to ensure engagement and satisfaction with program offerings.
- Maintain positive relationships with youth, families, and community partners.
- Use of databases, spreadsheets, and cloud-based systems for attendance tracking and reporting.
- Ability to learn and utilize organizational software platforms.
- Provide tabling support for community events to promote Youth Enrichment programs and engage with the community.
- Attend and support RYDDE performances, events, and other program activities as needed.
- Attend required meetings and events as scheduled.
- Assist in fulfilling grant requirements by maintaining program documentation and attendance records required for grant compliance. Assist with data collection, outcome tracking, and reporting to support grant deliverables.
- Providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, adjusting priorities as necessary to support organizational objectives. Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other technology platforms used to support program operations.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of administrative support or coordination experience preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience working in youth development with K-12 students.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements Routine office environment: day-to-day work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with and supporting staff. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance that meets the state's requirements, and be able and willing to travel 10%-20% of the time as needed.
