Back SRT/Direct Connection•Vehicle Upfit & Program Manager#2016190 Auburn Hills, Michigan, United StatesApply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description The Vehicle Upfit Manager/Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing all performance part programs, contracts, upfit programs, logistical operations, and inventory management across all 3rd Party Body Vendor locations (Upfitters). This role requires a deep understanding of upfitter-specific customer needs and processes, as well as the ability to collaborate closely with SRT and Direct Connection leadership to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for upfitter companies and key customers, addressing delivery requirements and ensuring satisfaction
Program Management:
Develop, plan, and implement program goals and objectives in accordance with the core purpose, mission, and values of
Direct ConnectionOwner of Key Performance Indicators:
Track all program costs, schedules and key performance indicators (KPI's) against established program milestones; reporting status to management stakeholders on a regular basisDefine and maintain program timing: coordination of projects and their interdependencies
Business Development:
Support and lead new and existing business development initiatives
Strategic Guidance:
Provide internal and external direction to implement best practices and optimize processes
Vehicle Logistics:
Monitor vehicle movement within the upfit network and deliver accurate monthly reporting
Vendor Coordination:
Manage and execute internal and external processes related to upfit operations, including ship-through programs
Communication Leadership:
Organize and lead meetings with internal logistics stakeholders to ensure alignment
Reporting:
Publish key documents and reports for internal and external stakeholders; maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business
Cross-Functional Collaboration:

United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreeMinimum 8+ years of experience in engineering, operations, program management, or a related fieldStrong written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft tools (PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote)Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
