Back Value Creation Program Specialist•Industrial Strategy#2017340 Auburn Hills, Michigan, United StatesApply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description The Value Creation Program Specialist is responsible for developing Planning, Time to Market and Capital Allocation efficiency proposals, supporting the Value Creation Office. This role will be focused on defining levers/opportunities to improve CAPEX, to be achieved during planning and execution phase. The position will coordinate the organization of investment historical data and performance KPIs that will feed the next generation of archetypes.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and complex business cases (G&A, launch, program, and project score).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience interfacing with executive leadership.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).Experience in program launches.
Ability to travel as required for program and product launches.
Knowledge of project management methodologies.

Apply lever to improve commercial performance and reduce number of dies; update archetype and waterfall to unapproved programsConfirm Best In Class Design for Manufacturing for welding and joining method for different segments and update archetypeDevelop proposals to align Make /buy to best industry practice; evaluate impact (R D CAPEX, TPC,...)Benchmark actual project and updated archetype; validate archetype inR D CAPEX

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant technical discipline.8+ years of experience in Vehicle Manufacturing (stamping, welding, and assembly).Proven experience managing crossfunctional teams and working within unionized environments.Strong financial acumen with experience managing large budgets and complex business cases (G&A, launch, program, and project score).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience interfacing with executive leadership.
