PURPOSE STATEMENT
Provides administrative and program support to the Director of Quality. Monitors and assists quality and performance improvement efforts to prevent and effectively respond to risk events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Monitor and audit program components to ensure compliance with contracts, licensing and accreditation standards. Complete quality analysis reports and identify recommendation for improvement. Assist in the development and oversight of program improvement initiatives and corrective action plans. Assist in the development of new programming and program expansion projects as needed. Participate in program and quality related training as appropriate. Responsible for compiling and distributing material prior to meetings, as well as recording the minutes. Responsible for department records management. Assist with coordinating and training activities for facility staff to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, as needed. Maintain and update electronic and physical database. Assist in project implementation and system-wide education and compliance initiatives including compliance with State Licensing and CMS regulatory requirements Track projects as assigned throughout the facility, which may include but is not limited to quality council, departmental monitors, board monitors and graphs. Associate's degree within a clinical field such as nursing or counseling required. Bachelor's degree in a clinical field preferred. Three or more years' experience working in a human services organization with implementation of performance improvement and/or evaluation activities. One or more years' experience performing work supporting Joint Commission/CARF accreditation preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility.
