  • Full-time Overview We are a Tier 1 and Tier 2 global automotive supplier with operations in seven countries, including business and technical support centers and manufacturing facilities.
We are a recognized leader in the development and production of engineered automotive exhaust components. We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and professional individual to join our North American Team. We encourage all qualified applicants to apply for our Sales & Program Manager position. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Novi, Michigan. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities and program execution, developing strategies to drive revenue growth, managing budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the successful launch and execution of new products and programs. The role also involves supporting customers by identifying their needs and coordinating engineering solutions related to products, equipment, and services. Key Responsibilities Identify current and future customer requirements by building strong relationships with key stakeholders and providing technical and commercial support. Develop new business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships under the guidance of senior leadership. Identify and establish new customer accounts while maintaining and expanding existing accounts. Prepare cost estimates by reviewing drawings, specifications, and customer requirements in collaboration with engineering teams. Provide regular updates and feedback to the Senior Sales & Program Manager and President, including competitiveness assessments of quotations. Analyze cost-benefit opportunities and propose improvements in products, processes, materials, or services. Support customer decision-making by demonstrating cost savings and operational improvements. Prepare and present sales strategy reports, including market trends, application insights, and performance analysis. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning, networking, and industry engagement. Build and maintain strong relationships with customer engineering and purchasing teams through regular visits and communication. Maintain accurate records of customer visits, sales activities, and program status. Report sales activities, forecasts, strategies, and program updates to management. Identify opportunities for product performance improvement and cost reduction and implement appropriate actions. Collect and analyze competitive market intelligence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required Proven experience in sales, program management, and budget oversight Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving Ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural environments Technical knowledge of automotive products and manufacturing processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) 1-5 years of experience in the automotive industry or relevant technical training Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Multilingual capabilities (Spanish preferred) Experience with automotive product development processes Proven track record in OEM sales, including negotiation and relationship management
