About GiGi's Playhouse Detroit GiGi's Playhouse Detroit is part of a national network of Down Syndrome Achievement Centers dedicated to changing the way the world views Down syndrome and sending a global message of acceptance for all. We provide free educational, therapeutic, career development, and social programs to individuals with Down syndrome and their families. Position Summary GiGi's Playhouse Detroit is seeking an organized, creative, and relationship-focused Program & Volunteer Manager to oversee program operations and volunteer engagement, with primary responsibility for coordinating programs and supporting volunteers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced nonprofit environment, enjoys building connections, and has exceptional attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage educational, therapeutic, and social programs as a primary responsibility. Recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers as a primary responsibility. Maintain accurate records and databases. Collaborate with families, community partners, and board members to support program goals. Ensure programs are delivered with excellence and consistency. Assist with events, outreach activities, and special projects as needed. Track program participation and outcomes. Support continuous improvement and growth initiatives for program and volunteer operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficient with Microsoft Office and database systems; Salesforce is a plus. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Creative problem solver with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
