Job Description
Design and Facilitate Other Center Programs
- Design developmentally appropriate program curriculum for children, teens, young adults, andcaregivers.
- Facilitate programs in a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment.
- Adapt activities based on group size, participant needs, and age ranges.
- Work collaboratively with volunteers to deliver quality programming.
- Serve as on-site lead for high-quality, consistent preschool program implementation.
- Maintain a safe and clean space for kids to learn and play. Implement Center germ-freeprocedures, cleaning policies and social interaction guidelines.
- Create a nurturing and engaging environment, establish and enforce classroom and behaviorpolicies.
- Track and assess child's progress throughout the school year. Share assessments with parents inspring and fall.
- Identify and secure supplies and program partnerships as needed for curriculum.
- Implement curriculum with statewide consistency, adapting as needed for individual,developmental, and medical needs.
- Collaborate regularly with WM site to ensure alignment.
- Participate in training and apply best practices in curriculum delivery.
- Travel to WM a few times/year.
- Build relationships with children, teens, young adults, and caregivers through play, conversation,and attentive care.
- Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation and connection.
- Serve as a role model for kindness, respect, and enthusiasm.
- Assist in planning future programs and activities.
- Communicate feedback on program needs to leadership.
- Support special events, community engagement activities, and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred- Experience designing and facilitating programs for youth and families, with a focus on earlychildhood education.
- Ability to engage participants across a wide range of ages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends (required).
- Experience with Office 365 and related software preferred.
- Physical ability to position oneself at children's level, move throughout the Center, and lift/move25-45 lbs.
