Program Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Specialist to support and enhance our public housing programs. In this role, you will work directly with residents, community partners, and housing professionals to ensure quality housing services, program compliance, and positive resident experiences. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and committed to making a difference in the community while navigating fast-paced housing operations and federal housing regulations. What You'll Do Manage public housing program activities in compliance with HUD guidelines and agency policies Assist applicants and residents with eligibility, certifications, and housing services, Move-ins and Move outs Maintain accurate records, reports, and resident files Provide outstanding customer service and respond to resident inquiries professionally Coordinate internal team to support resident success Support inspections, occupancy management, and compliance reviews Assist Executive Director with other duties that may be required or assigned Help improve housing programs that positively impact families and individuals What We're Looking For Strong communication and organizational skills Experience in public housing, affordable housing, social services, or program administration preferred Knowledge of HUD regulations is a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail Passion for public service and community development Join us in creating safe, affordable, and thriving communities for all.

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
