Job Description

Description We are looking for a dedicated MDT Philanthropy Manager to join our team in Fridley, Minnesota. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and management of scholarship programs aimed at supporting students pursuing careers in health technology. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to drive program success.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage scholarship award processes, including recipient selection, notification, reporting, and payments, in collaboration with third-party vendors and communication teams.
  • Develop and implement support initiatives for scholarship recipients, such as mentorship programs, career awareness activities, networking sessions, and virtual events.
  • Coordinate employee engagement opportunities, encouraging volunteer participation in mentoring, career awareness, and networking activities.
  • Act as the primary project manager for scholarship deliverables, ensuring timely and effective execution of all program components.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to produce career awareness videos and other educational materials for scholarship recipients.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including foundation teams and external partners, to streamline program operations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to track program outcomes and share key insights with leadership.
  • Oversee financial aspects of the scholarship program, ensuring accurate expense tracking and budget management.
  • Organize meetings, workshops, and events to support program goals and enhance recipient experiences.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance program efficiency and impact. Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or philanthropy-related roles.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage relationships across teams and external partners.
  • Proven ability to oversee complex programs and deliverables, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Experience managing budgets and tracking financial performance for programs or projects.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing employee engagement initiatives, such as mentoring and networking.
  • Familiarity with corporate communications and community affairs functions.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and events effectively, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
  • Knowledge of scholarship programming and student support services is highly desirable.
