  • Position Summary
  • The
  • Satellite Senior Dining Coordinator
  • plays a key role in supporting the health, connection, and well-being of older adults within our community. This position oversees the daily operations of assigned Catholic Charities Senior Dining locations-including rural sites-to ensure welcoming, high-quality service for all diners.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Site & Program Management
  • + Manage day-to-day operations of assigned Senior Dining sites in alignment with program policies and procedures. + Welcome, register, and engage with diners to create a warm, friendly, and supportive atmosphere. + Provide information and referrals to additional community services when appropriate.
  • Recordkeeping & Administration
  • + Track and report meals served and maintain accurate activity records. + Complete documentation for Insurance/Waiver meals and ensure proper authorizations are obtained. + Record diner contributions and process deposits. + Order non-food supplies and submit weekly reports to the Senior Dining administrative office.
  • Volunteer Coordination
  • + Recruit, schedule, and support volunteers to help deliver a positive Senior Dining experience. + Maintain clear communication and ensure volunteers understand their roles.
  • Social & Wellness Programming
  • + Plan and promote social, health, and wellness activities for diners. + Communicate regularly with participants to keep them engaged and informed.
  • Community Outreach & Marketing
  • + Promote the Senior Dining Program through local media, community partners, and public events. + Represent Catholic Charities at senior expos, fairs, government meetings, and other community gatherings.
  • Meals on Wheels Coordination
  • + Oversee and assess the Meals on Wheels program for assigned areas. + Conduct annual in-home assessments to determine eligibility. + Connect clients with additional community resources when needed.
  • Food Service Support
  • + Set up on-site meal service and ensure food safety standards-including temperature requirements-are met. + Track additional food items and coordinate returns to the meal production site.
  • Qualifications
  • Education/Training:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Job Related Experience:
