Job Description

Designated Coordinator:
Monday
  • Friday daytime hours (salaried position) On-call responsibilities Required 16 hours of direct support 3 to 6 years of mental health experience
LOCATION
Saint Anthony Please read the position qualifications below. This is a high-level Designated Coordinator position with additional education and experience requirements. We provide support to very high challenging behaviors. Only resumes that have the required education and experience will be reviewed.
  • Experience with High Intense Behaviors is a MUST!
  • Applicant must have an understanding of Positive Support Strategies and effective de-escalation techniques.
Familiar with EUMR'S is
PERFERRED.
We are looking for a dependable leader who can empower a team of Direct Support Professionals by providing a person-centered approach and always putting the people we serve first. We are seeking an organized self-starter who can lead with compassion in the programs and services we provide. This person will provide program oversight involving compliance with licensing and is encouraged to express innovative ideas on our programming and the overall satisfaction of the individuals we support and their support teams. Day time hours Benefits including affordable medical, dental, vision, 16 days PTO and 6 safe and sick time days. Mileage Reimbursement Work/Life Balance Duties and Responsibilities Knowledgeable about current licensing standards/requirements to ensure compliance with the program they are responsible for. Ensures compliance with each person served with all 245D paperwork. Ensures the duties of the direct support staff are fulfilled according to responsibilities in the care plan. Provide training/supervision to the direct support staff Update team members for each person served at minimum of once per month about status of service, quality of care, person situation and outcomes. Responsible for ongoing communication with team members. Other duties as assigned.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the position, applicants must: Pass a Department of Human Services background check and provide two professional references Work independently and have strong organizational skills Demonstrate strong written and oral communications skills Proficiently use Microsoft Office Pass skills tests related to physical intervention
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
No degree
  • min. 6 years' experience with positive behavioral supports or,
  • Associates
  • min. 5 years' experience with positive behavioral supports or, BA
  • min. 4 years' experience with positive behavioral supports MA
  • min.
3 years' experience with positive behavioral supports Management experience (preferred) ! We can't wait to meet you!
