Energy & Housing Services Location:
Rushford, MN Full-Time | Non-Exempt Job Summary SEMCAC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Program Specialist to support our Weatherization Assistance Program. This position is responsible for coordinating services, managing client information, and ensuring the timely and equitable delivery of weatherization services across our service area. Key Responsibilities Assign, plan, and schedule work for Housing Rehabilitation Specialists Determine and prioritize eligible households based on program requirements Maintain accurate client files and documentation Verify homeownership or obtain landlord approval for rental properties Communicate with clients regarding project status and process Respond to client questions, concerns, and referrals Track program referrals, surveys, and reporting data Ensure compliance with Weatherization Program guidelines and mandates Order supplies and manage mileage logs
Education & Experience:
Certificate from a college or technical school OR 3-6 months of related experience/training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to interpret program guidelines and maintain accurate records Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Why Work at SEMCAC?
