Job Summary This position serves as the MNOSHA (Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration) receptionist and Administrative Specialist to ensure the Division's goals and objectives are accomplished.
Responsibilities include:
Provide receptions services to callers and/or visitors Database management Assist with training and partnership programs Administrative support to directors and supervisors Respond to requests for information Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Skill in customer service sufficient provide prompt, courteous and accurate information to customers in person, on the phone, and through e-mail and other written correspondence Customer service practices and principles sufficient to identify each customer's needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction Standard computer software programs for word processing, spreadsheets, and databases sufficient to create, modify, and protect them Skill in Keyboarding/typing, using Microsoft Word or equivalent software, sufficient to produce correspondence in an efficient and timely manner The incumbent must also possess a valid Minnesota Driver's License and ability to drive standard Class D vehicles to assist our fleet coordinator for vehicle repairs and returns that would involve driving a state vehicle. Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner to both internal and external customers Preferred Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including those who may not share your same culture, ethnicity, language, or common experiences Language skills other than English (Somali, Spanish, Hmong, Karen or ASL) Additional Requirements It is the policy that all final candidates submit to a background investigation prior to employment.
