Job Summary The Project Manager will coordinate all efforts across the Aging and Disability Services Administration (ADSA) as it relates to the execution of the Medicaid Revalidation Process. This includes but may not be limited to: State plan benefits under Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) Personal Care Assistance (PCA)/Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) Home and community based service (HCBS) waiver services including: Adult Day Service Adult Companion Integrated Community Supports (ICS) Individualized Home Support (IHS) Night Supervision The Project Manager is responsible for providing strategic oversight, operationalizing and coordinating the work across ADSA related to the Medicaid Provider Revalidation Process. The position will guide and manage all work efforts, track work progress, and collaborate across the Department to ensure effective implementation related to the Revalidation Process and other program integrity efforts. This position will ensure compliance with medical necessity requirements and ensure all documentation standards, thereby protecting the integrity of Minnesota's Medicaid program and ensuring appropriate use of public funds. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications- To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month, day and year for each job held.
- 1 year professional experience in project planning and operations OR 3 years advanced technical or paraprofessional experience OR Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Public Policy, Public Administration or related field and 2 years of advanced technical or paraprofessional experience OR Master's degree in Human Services, Public Policy, Public Administration or related field AND Experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing effective technical assistance Familiarity with Medicaid program rules, functional eligibility, person-centered support planning, and medical necessity concepts Program development and planning Familiarity with healthcare coding and billing basics relevant to behavioral health services Preferred Qualifications Understanding of Aging and Disability Services in scope for Revalidation Knowledge of HIPAA, state data practices, and confidentiality requirements for handling sensitive health information Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate clinical documentation Proficient computer skills for data entry and electronic documentation systems Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and/or cultures Additional Requirements To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month and year for each job held.
