Exchange Center Facilitator

JOB This is a non-merit position. Recruitment for this position will be handled by the Family Court of St. Louis County.

The Family Court of St. Louis County is hiring for a Part-Time (Up to 16 hours a week) Exchange Facilitator in our Domestic Relations Department. The Exchange Facilitator facilitates the neutral exchange of children; receives and welcomes parents and children at The Exchange Center.

Wednesday:

3:45 p.m.•8:30 p.m.

Friday:

3:45 p.m.•7 p.m.

Saturday:

9 a.m.•4 p.m.

Sunday:

4 p.m.•8:30 p.m. This position requires schedule flexibility and will require work on evenings and weekends.$20.00 per hour.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Provide safe, neutral supervised exchanges of children between court-ordered families.

Ability to promote emotional and physical safety and wellbeing of all program participants through monitoring and deescalating. Communicate program policies and procedures to families. Monitor, observe and document interactions and behaviors between parent and child(ren) during supervised visitations. Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds including those who have experienced emotional and traumatic situations.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION

All applicants conditionally offered a permanent part-time, full-time, term or on-call position will be required to submit to a urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment. Screening will be performed by a reputable clinical laboratory. The cost of screening will be paid by the County. Applicants will also be required to submit to an extensive background and criminal record check.
