We are seeking a compassionate and organized Adult Day Program Coordinator to help lead daily operations, support staff, and ensure every elder receives individualized care and engagement. Position Summary The Adult Day Program Coordinator plays a key leadership role in supporting the daily operations of the program. This position assists with participant assessments, helps identify each elder's unique needs, interests, and preferences, and works closely with staff to ensure those needs are met through individualized care and activities. The coordinator also serves as a communication bridge between families, staff, and leadership , ensuring families stay informed and confident in the care their loved ones receive. This position requires a team-oriented leader who is passionate about elder care and enjoys building relationships with both participants and families. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Coordination Assist with participant assessments and care planning Identify elders' preferences, interests, and individual needs Help develop and coordinate daily activities and engagement programs Assist with meal planning and nutritional support Monitor participant safety and provide protective oversight Staff Support & Training Assist with orienting and training new staff Help team members understand individual participant care needs Provide guidance and support to program staff Assist leadership with staffing coordination Family Communication Communicate updates and observations to families Serve as a liaison between families and the Program Director Help address family questions and concerns professionally and compassionately Clinical Communication Observe and report changes in participant condition Communicate updates to the clinical nurse Assist with maintaining accurate documentation and care records Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Medication Administration Certification required Experience working with seniors, dementia care, or adult day services preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to lead and support a team environment Must be registered with the Family Care Safety Registry Annual TB test required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Compensation This position is hourly and non-exempt . Competitive hourly pay Overtime pay at 1.5x the regular hourly rate when a minimum of 36 hours worked in the workweek is met Holiday premium pay (1.5x) for approved hours worked on company-recognized holidays Supportive leadership and team culture Opportunities for professional growth Employees must work their scheduled shifts immediately before and after a holiday to qualify for holiday premium pay unless the absence is pre-approved.
