All qualified Missouri traditional guard members and those eligible for enlistment, appointment or transfer into the Missouri Air Nional Guard. Duties Help Provides group level direction and management for work characterized as infrastructure support for organizions and tenants of the host ANG base. Directs work to be accomplished by an organizion consisting of 8 - 12 full-time direct-report subordine supervisors and 100-150 base support employees in technician grades up to GS-13, Active Guard/Reserve (AGR) military grades up to Lt Colonel. Directs work to be accomplished by an organizion consisting various ste program and contract employees engaged in supervisory, professional, technical and administrive work. Directs and supervises, through subordine supervisors, staff and production functions affecting base opering support through a wide variety of high cost, sophisticed communicions and computer systems, and personnel da systems. Directs and supervises, through subordine supervisors, staff and production functions affecting base opering support through real property assets, and associed equipment th comprise a significant share of base fiscal resources. Advises ste, local, and Federal officials with broader and higher responsibilities on problems involving the relionship of the work of the organizions supervised to broader programs, and work impact on such programs. Coordines legal and technical criteria and procedures for rendering decisions associed with mission support functions and corollary higher headquarters and cross-functioning agencies. Plans, develops, and executes support annexes to USAF and MAJCOM opering plans. Evalues and monitors comb readiness of all mission support functions and branches, as well as all wing personnel, with regard to survivability, chemical defense, and weapons qualificion. Commands the wing Survival Recovery Center (SRC); serves as On-Scene Commander in response to military and civil emergency events; oversees a Regional Operions Security Center (ROSC), as assigned. Through analysis of unit strengths and capabilities, balances ECS commitments to ensure acceptable OPSTEMPO and

levels. Manages and directs all wing activion, mobilizion, deployment, and demobilizion activities and functions. Coordines support activities across agency lines, e.g., Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), ste and/or county Office of Emergency Management, Federal Aviion Administrion (FAA), and environmental offices and agencies. Coordines support activities with wing operions and aircraft maintenance areas. As primary liaison for wing involvement in Military Support to Civil Authorities (MSCA), plans, implements, and directs unit response in such areas as homeland defense, weapons of mass effect, counter drug support, and disaster response. Negoties joint use agreements with local airport authorities. Establishes and maintains frequent and direct contact with NGB staff and counterparts ANG bases in order to resolve problems affecting support capabilities and to ensure timely exchange of pertinent technical, managerial, and mission informion. Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Help Conditions of employment Selectee required to wear the military uniform. This is an Excepted Service position th requires membership in the Missouri Nional Guard prior to the effective de of placement.

May be required to successfully complete a trial period. May be required to successfully complete a supervisory probionary period. Must be able to obtain and maintain the approprie security clearance of the position. MILITARY REQUIREMENTS
Selected candide must currently be assigned to a military unit in the Missouri Air Nional Guard. Title 32 employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade - Col (O-6) Minimum Military Grade - Lt Col (O-5) immediely promotable to Col (O-6)
GENERAL EXPERIENCE
: Must possess experience, educion or training in managing or directing, one or more programs, including approprie supporting service organizions; supervisory, managerial, professional or technical work experience and/or training which has provided knowledge of management principles, practices, methods and techniques; and experience using computer and automion systems.
GS-14 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: Must possess 36 months of specialized experience th demonstres a working knowledge of, and responsibility for directing base infrastructure operions of an aviion wing/base, to include civil engineering, crash/fire rescue, disaster preparedness, environmental management, military and civilian personnel, command, control, communicions and computer systems (C4), security forces, medical, and base services. Experience must demonstre your ability to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gher pertinent da and recognize solutions; prepare reports, plans, policies and various correspondence; interact with a variety of groups and/or individuals; evalue objectives and develop plans to facilite the availability and effective utilizion of various resources; and experience which has provided you a thorough knowledge of a military organizion, its mission and involved utilizion of the organizional staff procedures.
