Chief Program Officer Starkloff Disability Institute - 5.0 St. Louis, MO Job Details Full-time $95,000 - $120,000 a year 16 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Program design Working with individuals with disabilities Master's degree Bachelor's degree Community relationship building Senior leadership Full Job Description Job Summary Starkloff Disability Institute (SDI) is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and mission-driven Chief Program Officer (CPO) to lead the vision, impact, and growth of SDI's program portfolio serving youth and adults with disabilities. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CPO provides executive leadership to ensure programs are innovative, inclusive, and aligned with SDI's mission to advance economic opportunity and disability inclusion. About Starkloff Disability Institute SDI's mission is to build inclusion where we live, learn, work, and play through disability-led programs that advance economic opportunity and transform lives. We work to help disabled people thrive by acting on both sides of the problem:
    Empowering Candidates:
    Our candidate programs empower people with disabilities to take control of their careers and succeed in competitive professions. Through a range of programs targeting youth, college students, and adults, SDI teaches people with disabilities to step into their power as disabled professionals and equips them with the tools to thrive in the workplace.
      Improving Systems:
      Through corporate partnerships, community outreach, conferences, media, and more, SDI dispels myths and helps companies implement inclusive hiring and customer service practices. We use many approaches to teach people how common disability is, that it isn't something to fear or be uncomfortable with, and how they can be more welcoming. Key Responsibilities
      • Provide executive leadership for SDI's full portfolio of programs, ensuring alignment with mission and strategy
      • Set and execute program strategy that advances economic opportunity and disability inclusion
      • Oversee design, delivery, and continuous improvement of evidence-based programs
      • Ensure programs are accessible, inclusive, and aligned with best practices
      • Lead, mentor, and develop program leaders and staff
      • Establish and monitor outcomes using data to drive decisions and demonstrate impact
      • Build and sustain strategic community and employer partnerships
      • Collaborate with executive leadership to align programs with operations and finances
      • Represent SDI externally as a leader in disability inclusion Qualifications
      • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
      • 8-10+ years of nonprofit or social services program leadership experience (5 + years in this role or director level) significant leadership experience 950
      • Experience managing programs, staff, and budgets
      • Background in disability services strongly preferred
