Job Description
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is currently seeking to fill their Intellectual Disabilities Supervisor position. This position will supervise the daily operations of a day treatment program for consumers with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in Ellisville, MS. The Intellectual Disabilities Supervisor plays a vital role in Pine Belt's ability to provide mental health resources to its consumers. Therefore, Pine Belt is seeking an ambitious, positive and studious supervisor that can demonstrate leadership ability while managing multiple projects and completing assigned tasks on schedule. Patient and goal-orientated people will feel right at home as a part of Pine Belt's staff. For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen-county service area includes
Amite, Covington, Forrest, Franklin, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jeff Davis, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Marion, Pear River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall and Wayne Requirements:
Master's degree in behavioral health field Clinical License or DMH Therapist Certification within 90 days of hire Valid Driver's License with satisfactory driving record MS Class C CDL within 60 days of hire Experience working with intellectual disabilities and/or developmental disabilities populations (not required, but a plus)Responsibilities:
Supervise daily functioning of Medicaid Waiver Services program for a specific location. Coordinate and evaluate staff efforts to achieve desired program and consumer outcomes. Implement habilitation planning goals while overseeing client's progress towards their strength-based goals. Develop activity schedules for individuals enrolled in Pine Belt's program. Build and maintain relationships with families and the surrounding community.Similar remote jobs
