New Vineyard Community Development Center Job Overview New Vineyard Community Development Center is seeking a dedicated and organized After-School Program Director to lead and manage our after-school program in Utica. The ideal candidate will oversee daily program operations, support staff, and create a safe, structured, and engaging environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive after school hours. This position is part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer, as the director will also be responsible for managing and overseeing the summer camp program. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with youth and building positive relationships with students, families, and staff. Previous experience in youth programs or program leadership is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the after-school program. Supervise and support after-school staff and teachers. Develop and implement engaging educational and enrichment activities for students. Ensure a safe, structured, and positive learning environment. Manage program scheduling, attendance, and student supervision. Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and leadership. Ensure compliance with program policies, safety standards, and licensing requirements. Plan, organize, and manage the summer camp program, including activities, staffing, and daily operations. Participate in required training and professional development. Qualifications & Experience Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Passion for working with children and youth development. Ability to manage staff and support a team environment. Previous experience in education, childcare, youth programs, or leadership roles is preferred but not required. Work Location This is an in-person position located in Utica, Mississippi.
