Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Senior Resource Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of professional tasks focused on educating and assisting seniors and individuals with disabilities in accessing necessary resources. You will provide timely information about human services, maintain accurate resource files, and support clients in navigating community programs. This position involves working primarily in an office setting with occasional home visits and requires collaboration with program and general management staff.
Responsibilities:
Research, identify, and provide information about human services available to seniors and persons with disabilities. Maintain and update electronic and manual resource files to ensure accuracy and accessibility. Assist clients in accessing community-based services and programs tailored to their needs. Collaborate with the Program Manager, Information & Assistance staff, and General Manager to plan, organize, monitor, and evaluate program activities. Conduct occasional home visits to clients as needed. Use personal vehicle for travel within Ravalli County and Missoula County (mileage reimbursed). Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous program improvement efforts.
Requirements:
Knowledge of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid programs preferred. Strong research and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel (mileage reimbursement provided). Background check and drug screen upon offer of employment
