This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students through engaging educational activities, fostering a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning, creativity, and personal growth. As the coordinator, you will oversee program operations, collaborate with school staff and community partners, and ensure a positive experience for all participants. Your energy, organization, and dedication will be vital in creating an enriching afterschool environment that empowers students to thrive beyond the classroom. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and implement diverse afterschool activities aligned with educational goals and student interests Supervise program staff, volunteers, and student participants to ensure safety and engagement Coordinate schedules, resources, and materials needed for daily activities and special events Foster strong relationships with school staff, parents, community organizations, and local stakeholders to enhance program offerings Monitor student behavior and provide mentorship to promote positive social interactions Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and program outcomes Ensure compliance with safety protocols, policies, and licensing requirements Requirements Prior experience in education administration or higher education teaching roles involving youth or student programs Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and needs Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and community partners Knowledge of educational best practices and youth development principles University experience or background in teaching or education-related fields is highly preferred Passion for working with students to foster their academic and personal growth Join us in making a meaningful impact by leading an inspiring afterschool program that energizes students' learning journeys!
