GED Full Job Description What We Offer:
The Residency Program Coordinator (Coordinator) supports the residency program and provides administrative support. The Coordinator is responsible for managing documentation for residency and accurately tracking and completing file information. Will schedule meetings, assist with orientation for new residency appointees and will generate the contractual agreements. Maintains accurate records for residency appointees and creates and implements annual resident rotation schedule in compliance with educational experience requirements mandated by regulatory requirements including the appropriate assignment and arrangement for preceptorship. Serves as the liaison and representative for the residency during all scheduled or prescribed/requested presentations or committee meetings with the Novant Health corporate, clinical, or executive leadership.
What We're Looking For:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
Experience:
Minimum one year experience in administrative support role, required.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for complete and accurate program information updates to the residency recruitment brochure and resident handbook Verifies minimum requirements/criteria for candidate interview consideration; preliminary review of candidate files to establish level of qualification Organizes selected candidate interview sessions, including the recruitment and assignment of faculty members Documents each resident's records for the maintenance of current professional certification and licensure (i.e.: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, permanent M.D. and D.O.) Creates and implements annual resident rotation schedule in compliance with all educational experience requirements mandated by the ACGME, AOA, RRC and OPTI (Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institution), including the appropriate assignment and arrangement of faculty preceptorship Completes and submits all databases related to residency program
