About Raise A Child of the Carolinas Raise a Child of The Carolinas (RACC) is a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on exposing youth to advanced academic opportunities that are not common within their communities, thus inspiring them to reach their full potential. The RACC organization was started in 2018 and provides children in the Charlotte area and surrounding North and South Carolina region with after-school clubs, seasonal camps, and community service projects. Description Are you energetic, creative, and passionate about helping children learn and grow? Do you enjoy creating hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity, confidence, and new possibilities? If so, Raise a Child Carolinas may be the perfect fit for you! We are currently seeking Youth Program Facilitators to join our seasonal summer camp team. Youth Program Facilitators work closely with program leadership and fellow staff members to provide a safe, engaging, and enriching experience for children throughout the summer. You will help lead daily activities, support student learning, manage behavior, and create an environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to succeed.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED, or current enrollment in college Experience working with children in a school, camp, childcare, tutoring, volunteer, or youth development setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude, flexibility, and strong problem-solving skills Reliable transportation and dependable attendance First Aid and CPR certification preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
(Include, but are not limited to:) Lead and supervise campers during daily activities, field trips, meals, and transitions Facilitate educational, recreational, STEM, leadership, and enrichment activities Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all campers Support positive behavior management and conflict resolution Monitor camper safety and follow all camp policies and procedures Assist with lesson preparation, activity setup, and cleanup Maintain accurate attendance records and complete incident reports as needed Communicate professionally with families, volunteers, and staff Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities Serve as a positive role model for campers at all times Support emergency procedures and safety protocols when necessary
WORK REQUIREMENTS
Ability to actively supervise children in both indoor and outdoor environments Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and participate in camp activities throughout the workday Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to pass a criminal background check
