Job Description

Public Safety Program Coordinator (Law Enforcement Training Programs) Public Safety Program Coordinator (Law Enforcement Training Programs) Duties & Responsibilities General Job Description Duties Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Work Environment Minimum Requirements Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, or related field preferred. Must hold or be eligible to obtain School Director certification through the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission (12 NCAC 09B .0501). Minimum of five (5) years of law enforcement experience required. Must hold current certification as a General Instructor through the NC Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission. Prior experience teaching or directing a BLET program preferred. Experience coordinating or managing in-service, detention, telecommunicator, or other mandated training programs preferred.
