Part 142 Training Program & Courseware Team Lead
Job Description:
Our part 142 courseware team lead is responsible for FAA approved training programs, and courseware development. This role serves as the primary liaison with the FAA and ensures all training programs remain compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory and operational standards. This position is critical to maintaining our Part 142 certification while enabling scalable growth of training programs and simulator capacity. Not only will you be leading a small team, but you will also be rolling up your sleeves and producing a lot of electronic material. Key Responsibilities FAA compliant courseware for Part 142 training programs. FAA Compliance & Liaison Maintain Training Specifications (TSpecs) and approved program documentation Courseware & Curriculum Oversight Develop, revise, and maintain FAA-approved curricula and syllabi Support new program development, approvals, and amendments Coordinate with instructors, evaluators, and operations teams Oversee all courseware including: Ensuring alignment between courseware, checking standards, and training objectives Standardize curriculum across programs while supporting expansion Interpret and implement regulatory requirements and changes Instructor guides CBT/digital training content
Job Requirements:
Qualifications Required 3+ years of experience in Part 121, 135, 141, or 142 training center experience in courseware Direct experience with FAA-approved training programs and curricula Strong working knowledge of Part 142 regulations and TSpecs Experience interfacing with FAA inspectors Strong working knowledge Microsoft Office suite and various Adobe products Strong working knowledge of various ai platforms Preferred Experience building or revising FAA-approved courseware Familiarity with simulator-based training environments Experience supporting new program approvals or training center expansion Key Competencies Regulatory expertise and attention to detail Ability to translate FAA requirements into scalable systems Strong documentation and organizational skills Leadership and cross-functional coordination Audit readiness and problem-solving mindset Now (Job and company information not to be copied, shared, scraped, or otherwise disseminated/distributed without explicit consent of ) Now Job Info Location Concord, North Carolina, USA Type Permanent Relocation Negotiable Travel None Salary Range $90,000 - $120,000 Company Details FlyRight Inc. 7075 Aviation Blvd NW Suite A Concord, North Carolina 28027 USA flyrightinc/ 1 Open Job Available FlyRight Inc.
