$15.00/hour About the Role A Caring Heart Case Management, Inc. is seeking dependable, caring individuals to join our after-school and school-age summer program , working with children in grades K-8. In this role, you'll support children during after-school hours and throughout the summer, helping with academics, social skills, and daily activities while creating a safe and positive environment. Most positions will be for the school-age summer program, with some immediate openings in the current after-school program. Hours typically range from 20 to 40 per week depending on availability and program needs. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Key Responsibilities Supervise children in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment Lead educational, creative, and recreational activities to foster learning and personal growth Support homework completion and reinforce academic skills Promote positive social interaction, teamwork, and conflict resolution Build trusting relationships with children, families, and the program team Communicate daily updates to parents and team members about children's progress Uphold high standards of safety, professionalism, and confidentiality Qualifications Experience in childcare, youth programs, education, or mentoring preferred (training provided) Genuine passion for working with children and helping them thrive Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Reliable, responsible, and able to maintain a consistent schedule, Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM-7:00 PM Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations Must pass a background check and meet all state requirements Why You'll Love This Role Make a Difference:

Are you able to physically push, pull, or lift 25 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basis and up to 100 pounds unassisted occasionally? Please describe your experience working with individuals that are in the IDD populations. Please include organizations that you worked for, volunteered for, and/or personal experience that you have. Are you comfortable assisting individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) after receiving training? These tasks may include but are not limited to: Personal Care, Mobility Support, Meal Preparation & Feeding, Toileting & Continence Care, and/or Household Tasks. Would you be comfortable performing these essential duties as part of your role? This position requires completion of four paid training days (Onboarding, in-person CPR/First Aid or Safety Care sessions, and one at-home Relias module). Training days may not be consecutive, and travel up to one hour may be required depending on training location. Compensation is provided only if travel is required for new hires and attendance is confirmed. All training must be successfully completed prior to starting your official schedule.
