As the Lead Navigator, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and compassionate environment for clients, community partners, and visitors. You will lead daily front office operations, support victims and families in crisis, coordinate services and referrals, assist with advocacy needs, and help ensure our office remains organized, responsive, and client-centered. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of teamwork, communication, and collaboration. This position works closely with advocates, crisis staff, forensic interviewers, community partners, volunteers, and leadership daily. What You'll Do:
Serve as the first point of contact for clients and community partners Conduct intake assessments and connect clients with vital services Help coordinate office operations and support the navigation team Assist with advocacy services, safety planning, and referrals Rotate Crisis Line responsibilities with the entire staff Support awareness events, outreach activities, and fundraising initiatives Maintain accurate records and confidential documentation Help create a positive, team-oriented workplace culture Assist with donations, community resources, and client support needs Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals in crisis Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Valid North Carolina driver's license required Experience working with children, families, or victims of violence preferred Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Commitment to professionalism, inclusivity, and confidentiality Ability to maintain composure in crisis situations and emotionally demanding environments Pay:
$30,000.00 - $33,000.00 per year Benefits:
