Job Description:
Program Manager - Manufacturing / Product Launch Join a growing manufacturing organization where you'll lead programs from award through production launch, ensuring customer expectations for quality, delivery, timing, and cost are achieved. This role serves as the central point of coordination between customers, engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams to drive successful product launches and ongoing program execution. Responsibilities Manage programs from award through production launch and end of production. Lead project kick-off meetings for new programs, engineering changes, and site initiatives. Maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project. Track project budgets, profitability, and quote-to-actual program costs. Coordinate engineering and design changes throughout the product lifecycle. Work closely with customers to ensure manufacturability and dimensional quality requirements are met. Partner with manufacturing and process engineering teams to develop process flows and launch plans. Collaborate with operations on Bills of Materials (BOMs). Lead launch meetings and maintain program documentation, issue logs, and meeting minutes. Serve as the primary liaison between customers, sales teams, manufacturing plants, and internal stakeholders. Coordinate activities between facilities for inter-company supplied components. Track project financial performance and report status to leadership. Qualifications Experience managing manufacturing, product launch, engineering, or customer-driven programs. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience maintaining project schedules and budgets. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with customers, engineering, operations, and production teams. Manufacturing experience required; composite manufacturing experience is a plus.
