Job Description

About Hazelwood Healthcare Hazelwood Healthcare provides addiction medicine and recovery services to individuals in Haywood, Jackson, and Macon Counties. Our goal is to make recovery-oriented and medically sound care easier to access for the people of Western North Carolina. The need for care in our area is significant, and we are adding staff as we expand our programs to new locations in Sylva (an Opioid Treatment Program Satellite Office), and Bryson City (where our Mobile Treatment Vehicle will travel and bring services to Swain County). Our aim is to ensure that the people we serve feel welcomed, unjudged, and treated as valued individuals and partners in their care.
Qualifications:
A Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist- Associate (LCAS-A), or Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) OR An RN or LPN, with at least one year of work experience providing direct care services to individuals with substance use disorders; OR Have minimum of a bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university with at least one year of work experience providing direct care services to individuals with substance use disorders; AND Have at least one year of work experience in administration or programmatic supervision in human services. Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and experienced Leaders for our upcoming program locations in Sylva and Bryson City. We are currently hiring for the Sylva location. The position requires a Leader who can effectively manage program opening, development and implementation while ensuring quality of care and support for those we serve. Program Directors will be part of the leadership team of our organization, and will be responsible for aspects of program management including: Training, Supervising and Mentoring staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. Oversee administrative functions related to program operations, ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations and Accreditation Body standards. Collaborate with medical, nursing and behavioral health professionals to integrate best practices into program delivery. Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and families to promote program visibility and effectiveness. Monitor program outcomes and make data-driven decisions to improve services continually. The routine hours for this position are 6am to 2pm weekdays, and there is flexibility in this schedule when needed. We offer a monthly stipend to help with health insurance premium costs for employees who maintain health insurance through the ACA marketplace or other private plans, or coverage through a family member's plan. We offer a 401k with a 4% match. We observe all Federal Holidays.
