Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the uninterrupted operation and management of the long-term residential women's recovery program at The Healing Place of New Hanover County.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following: Screening and assessments of clients to ensure appropriateness for the program Make alternate service referrals for clients who do not meet admission criteria Ensure program curriculum is being implemented properly Facilitation of Community Meetings for long-term program and peer mentors Management and supervision of program peer mentors Facilitate weekly clinical training of peer mentors Ensure the long-term recovery program maintains fidelity to The Healing Place program model Collaboration with Men's Program Manager and other facility staff (Detox, Transitional Care, Clinic, etc.) Serve as a client liaison to other community systems (family court, justice and legal) Represent The Healing Place of New Hanover County to community partners, resources and agencies Ensure that facility, staff and programs meet safety standards SKILLS Excellent written/oral/interpersonal communication skills Precise attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality of information, people and processes Comfortable communicating with individuals with a diversity of backgrounds, income levels, and influence Organized with strong time management skills Ability to build relationships and follow directions
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalency required/ Bachelor's Degree preferred Some experience working in a residential recovery program preferred Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel and Word) Must be able to spend extended periods of time on your feet (walking, standing) Ability to project a professional image Must be able to lift 50lbs. on occasion Valid Driver's License required
