AMEND Group Facilitator STATUS:
Part-time, non-exempt Sollera is hiring for Amed Group Facilitators to help Lead the Path to Accountability and Change! Are you passionate about creating safer communities and helping individuals transform their lives? Join us as an Amend Group Facilitator , where you'll guide court-ordered participants in addressing their use of violence in intimate partner relationships. Through education and accountability, you'll empower participants to take responsibility for their actions and embrace healthier, non-violent behaviors. ABOUT Sollera's
NOVIOLENCE PROGRAM
The NoViolence Department helps round out Sollera's response to domestic violence. By working with those who cause harm, AMEND facilitators create meaningful opportunities for lasting awareness and accountability for how a person's abusive actions affect others. This awareness and accountability is essential to ending cycles of abuse and promoting healthy and safe relationships. PURPOSE Provide a framework for group participants to acknowledge their use violence in intimate partner relationships and accept responsibility for the impact on their partner. Participants are male offenders, court-ordered to attend these group sessions.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. GROUP FACILITATION
Facilitates group education to help men identify and change beliefs that support using violence against women. 2.
COORDINATION OF COURT-ORDERED CURRICULUM
Ensures the provision and documentation of a curriculum that meets court requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing or holding a degree in counseling, social work, criminal justice, or a related human services field. Minimum of three years of experience with group facilitation Minimum of one year of experience working in the field of sexual abuse and domestic violence, preferably working with men
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Demonstrated knowledge of group dynamics and process Extensive understanding of the dynamics and impact of sexual and domestic violence Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent verbal communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES GROUP FACILITATION
Facilitates group education to help batterers break their cycles of violence. Delivers the required curriculum professionally and effectively to meet desired learning objectives Manages time during the meetings to ensure all aspects of the curriculum are delivered Maintains confidentiality and respect among all participants within the group
COORDINATION OF COURT-ORDERED CURRICULUM
Ensures the provision and documentation of a curriculum that meets court requirements. Adheres to the designated curriculum Collects data from pre- and post-tests and feedback from participants Maintains attendance records and reports to the court accordingly
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
This work is primarily sedentary, requiring communicating clearly, seeing, hearing, talking, concentrating, reading and operating office equipment such as a computer, calculator, copier and scanner. Work is primarily in a climate-controlled area with office equipment level of noise.
EVALUATION
The performance of the AMEND Group Facilitator will be evaluated annually by the NoViolence Supervisor according to pre-determined objectives and policies. Revised 4/2025
