In-Person Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Empower Young Entrepreneurs This Summer The MAC Chamber is seeking an energetic, engaging, and motivated Contract Program Instructor to lead our Rising CEOs Summer Sprint , an intensive youth entrepreneurship and leadership summer program for high school students. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who are passionate about entrepreneurship, youth mentorship, leadership development, and community impact. The ideal candidate enjoys working with students, facilitating interactive learning experiences, and helping young people build confidence and career-ready skills. About the MAC Chamber The MAC Chamber is a growing organization dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, and leadership development within African and African American communities throughout Nebraska and the Midwest. Through innovative programs and strategic partnerships, the MAC Chamber equips entrepreneurs and future leaders with the tools, networks, and opportunities needed to thrive. About Rising CEOs Summer Sprint The Rising CEOs Summer Sprint is a fast-paced, high-energy entrepreneurship and leadership camp for high school students. Over the course of 10 sessions, students participate in hands-on activities, business development exercises, leadership training, team projects, and professional development workshops designed to prepare them for future academic, business, and career success.Program topics may include:
Entrepreneurship fundamentals Leadership and teamwork Public speaking and communication Financial literacy Branding and marketing Pitch development Career readiness and professionalism What You'll Do Teach daily in-person program sessions for high school students. Deliver engaging and interactive curriculum and activities. Foster a positive, safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment. Recruit program speakers and facilitate sessions. Encourage student participation, collaboration, and leadership growth. Support students in developing business technology, entrepreneurial and professional skills. Grade homework assignment, review business plans and pitch decks. Track attendance and communicate regularly with MAC Chamber staff. Participate in instructor onboarding and training sessions. What We're Looking For We are seeking instructors who are: Passionate about youth development and entrepreneurship. Comfortable leading and engaging groups of high school students. Energetic, professional, dependable, and organized. Strong communicators with excellent presentation skills. Able to create an encouraging and motivating learning environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in: Business Marketing Finance Accounting Education Management OR 2-5 years of equivalent professional experience in teaching, youth development, entrepreneurship, mentoring, coaching, training, or program facilitation. Additional Preferred Experience Experience working with youth or summer programs preferred. Experience facilitating workshops, classrooms, or group learning environments. Entrepreneurial or business experience is a plus. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Important Requirements Background checks will be required for all selected instructors. Ability to commit to the full two-week program schedule. Professional Development Opportunity Selected instructors will receive training to become a Kauffman FastTrac Facilitator, providing valuable nationally recognized facilitation training and professional development experience.
