POSITION STANDARDS
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or the equivalent in education and experience. Ability to work across disciplines, with excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills. Proficient in MS Office, spreadsheets and presentations AVADE Advanced Instructor. Active Shooter Instructor. OCAT, handcuffing and taser certification. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required, in accordance with D-H's Driver Disqualifications Guidelines.POSITION PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

FUNCTIONALRESPONSIBILITY
Position Objective Will oversee the AVADE Workplace Violence Prevention Program throughout the D-HH system and organizes and oversees all training for Dartmouth Health Security Officers. Understands and maintains compliance with Joint Commission standards regarding Work Place Violence. Maintain all necessary records as they pertain to both AVADE training and security offi cer training. Performance Expectation Directs AVADE and Active Shooter Work Place Violence Prevention Programs across D-HH. Develops and implements class schedules for AVADE, Active Shooter and other authorized training. Maintains instructor certifications for AVADE, Active Shooter, Oleoresin Capsicum Aerosol Training (OCAT), Handcuffing and Taser. Oversees all recordkeeping to ensure compliance is met within AVADE, Active Shooter and all security/parking officer training/certifications. Facilitates and schedules all training for Dartmouth Health security and parking officers. Identifies levels of AVADE training for end users Reviews Use of Force incidents and reports; works with security supervisors to facilitate ongoing and remedial training as necessary. Defines program project goals and objectives for AVADE and Active Shooter training. Develops and implements processes and procedures for data collection, program evaluation of AVADE and Active Shooter activitiesas it relates to workplace violence. Supports the Director's eff orts to mitigate Work Place Violence across the system. Participates in Workplace Violence Committee and Environment of Care meetings. Assist with developing, monitoring and tracking AVADE budget. Represents Safety and Security in design meetings to coordinate existing services and new initiatives as they relate to Work Place Violence that result in improving direct patient care and employee safety. Implements and oversees the AVADE E-Learning requirements, program development for Workplace Violence Preventionprograms, and other safety and security training programs off ered at D-HH. Acts to ensure compliance with Joint Commission and OSHA requirements in regards to Work Place Violence. Actively review feedback to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion within AVADE and all other applicable training programs. Leverage technology to support efficient program delivery and communication. Provides technical and administrative supervision and support to Work Place Violence Prevention instructors throughout D-HH. Performs other duties as required or assigned.Min:
