Key aspects of this role:
Utilize your technical experience to lead multi-disciplinary program teams Accountable for all aspects of program initiation, planning and execution, and ensuring program commitments are met. Motivation to solve hard problems. Responsible and accountable to the Business for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Makes decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit and cash flow. Leads or participates in the creation of new business strategies and in the development of strategic and financial plans.Demonstrates:
Ability to lead with authority and make informed decision to guide programs to meet objectives. Strong communication skills both internal and customer facing Strong leadership in ethics, safety and security. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site . This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in a technical field with at least 8 years of experience (6 years with a Master's degree) with at least 5 years' experience leading technical projects/programs Ability to obtain DoW Top Secret/SCI clearance Experience working complex, dynamic research and development projects/programs Experience working with multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams Exceptional communication skills, with ability to communicate across technical disciplines with customers and senior management. Excellent decision-making and thought leadership Ability to influence highly technical teams to drive program performance Experience working on and leading software projects/programs Experience integrating scope, schedule, budget and risk for the successful execution of the program's objectives Exhibit sound interpersonal skills to interface, coordinate, and negotiate with company personnel, customers, and suppliers Exercise discretion and independent judgement in the performance of PM duties Actively manage customer relationships to maintain a win-win of program execution and future business Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Advanced degree (Masters or Doctorate) in a technical field Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Experience working with engineering, product management, research and design teams Experience with Earned Value Management techniques Experience leading multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams Experience leading highly dynamic programs Experience leading through ambiguity Knowledge of defense contract typesPay Information Full-Time Salary Range:
$130355- $221603 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
