Job Description
The Representative Payee will assist mental health consumers establish budgets which provide for payment of all living expenses and daily/weekly personal allowances. The Rep Payee will be responsible for carrying out the functions of the program in conjunction with Social Security Administration.
Working Hours Full Time:
Monday thru Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.Education/Training/Experience Minimum:
High School diploma Primary Responsibilities- Develop a budget with program participants that provides for payment of all living expenses and daily/weekly personal allowances.
- Establish and maintain checking or saving accounts as established by Social Security Guidelines.
- Ensure that all requirements of the Social Security Office and other agencies are reported promptly and properly.
- Work with creditors to establish amenable payment schedules on behalf of program participants as needed.
