In addition, UBHC is the primary mental health training resource for the New Jersey departments of Human Services, Children and Families, and Corrections, delivering 16,000 trainings each year. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Manager for the Outpatient Services within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care. The primary purpose of the Program Manager position is to provide clinical and administrative direction and oversight to assigned programs, and closely monitor program integrity to comply with all regulatory requirements. Responsible for ongoing program development and implementation of Best Practice interventions. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Directs the administrative and clinical organization of the program. Interviews candidates for vacant positions and makes hiring recommendation to the Human Resources Department. Maintains knowledge of trends and development in the mental health field; regularly attends and participates in in-service meetings and other designated training events that will enhance clinical skills, and maintains best practices. Reviews the quality of clinical records and provides ongoing feedback to clinicians on their documentation. Completes the required qualitative chart reviews as requested by the Clinical Documentation Subcommittee. Completes Annual Employee Health Update (to include PPD).
