In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can develop essential social, emotional, and behavioral skills. Your energetic approach will inspire positive change and foster resilience in young participants, ensuring they receive the personalized care and guidance they deserve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in children's lives while working within a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in behavioral health. Job Highlights Provide group counseling, individualized interventions and support as directed by treatment plans. Provide activities to address daily living skills, as well as recreation and socialization activities. Maintain required clinical and administrative documentation, submit weekly observations on clients. Assist in developing comprehensive assessments and master treatment plans. Participate in the development of discharge plans and make needed referrals. Skills Proven experience working with children in behavioral health or social work settings Strong knowledge of crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management techniques Compassionate approach combined with energetic motivation to inspire positive growth in children BA in psychology, social work or related field. 1 year experience working with children.
