Job Description
- Develop recruitment plans and recruit participants for in CEWD educational, training, and supportive work programs.
- Develop and implement outreach initiatives, including presentations at client orientations and Union County American Job Centers, participation in partner events, and promotion through social media campaigns.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new programs based on funder requirements and emerging workforce needs.
- Establish program standards, goals, policies, and procedures to ensure successful delivery and compliance.
- Provide programmatic and fiscal oversight of assigned programs.
- Schedule and implement pre-intake and post-intake assessments.
- Schedule and implement Certification testing with instructors and student services staff. Monitor results and schedule retakes as needed.
- Conduct team meetings to review attendance, participation, and progress, and overall status of the program.
- Maintain accurate program records related to recruitment, assessment, enrollment, advising, and job placement.
- Coordinate with CEWD team and participate in job fairs, career days, and other hiring events relevant to program participants.
- Conduct post-program evaluations to assess student outcomes and program effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison with partner agencies, employers, and community organizations.
- Respond promptly to all program-related inquiries and requests.
- Interpret and communicate College and CEWD policies and procedures effectively.
- Recommend and implement improvements to departmental procedures; collaborate with staff, administrators, and instructors to enhance efficiency and communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support CEWD in achieving its contractual and organizational goals. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree required. Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with local, state, or federal programs.
- Experience in proposal writing preferred.
- Familiarity with occupational training programs, educational planning, and career goal development preferred. Competencies and Skills Required

- Discretion in handling confidential student and staff information.
- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to travel locally as required.

- This position's duties are normally performed in a typical interior/residence work environment, based on the activity scheduled.
- Some physical effort required; however, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
- Some travel required.
