Job Overview:
The GME Program Coordinator's primary responsibility is to provide a structured educational program for the benefit of the residents and fellows.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree required Relevant experience in graduate medical education Minimum 2-3 years experience in GME, UME or academic healthcare administration Knowledge of ACGME and Institutional Accreditation Standards Strong Communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Innovations and hospital-based systems
Preferred:
TAGME certification (Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education)

Monday-Friday Essential Functions:
Manage daily administrative operations of assigned residency or fellowship programs in compliance with ACGME and institutional policies Coordinate resident onboarding, credentialing, and offboarding processes in collaboration with GME and HR Maintain accurate resident records, evaluations, schedules, and duty hour logs in Innovations Manage recruitment and interview activities through ERAS or ResidencyCas Assist with NJ Permit/NJ License for resident/fellows Manage Travel requests, educational allowances and conference reimbursement Assist in preparing for site visits, annual program evaluations, and ACGME surveys
