The Medicaid Program Coordination Manager will: Oversee integration of the YESNMConnect.gov closed loop referral system in support of new Medicaid work and community engagement requirements; Coordinate partnerships between Medicaid, workforce agencies, volunteer organizations, education and training providers, and community-based organizations to help members connect with employment, volunteer, and support services needed to meet federal reporting requirements; Ensure referral pathways, data tracking, reporting processes, and member communications are implemented effectively within the closed loop system to improve compliance, reduce administrative barriers, and support continued Medicaid eligibility for qualified New Mexicans. How does it get done? The Medicaid Program Coordination Manager is responsible for: Ensuring successful integration of YESNMConnect.gov with external partners, establishing referral workflows and reporting processes, monitoring member referral activity, service connections, and outcomes to support compliance with federal requirements; Developing and maintaining operational procedures, business processes, and system requirements, identifying barriers that prevent members from completing work or volunteer requirements and coordinating solutions with community partners and support service providers; Ensuring accurate data collection, tracking, documentation, and reporting outcomes; Collaborating with internal teams to support system enhancements and process improvements, providing technical assistance, training, and guidance, supporting member communication and outreach efforts; Preparing reports, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders, and managing vendor contacts. Internal and external stakeholders in the Health Care Authority (HCA), Medical Assistance Division (MAD), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), federal government, state legislature, communities and the general public. Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited college or university and six (6) years of professional level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling ten (10) years may substitute for the required education and experience Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Must obtain a Defensive driving certification. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage with extended periods of sitting.
