PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Asphalt Pavement Association of New Mexico (APANM) Albuquerque, New Mexico | Full-Time Salary Position Help Lead New Mexico's Road Building Industry The Asphalt Pavement Association of New Mexico (APANM) is seeking an energetic, organized, and relationship-driven Program Director to help lead and grow one of New Mexico's most impactful infrastructure and industry organizations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys: leadership and collaboration event and conference management public relations and communications workforce and industry development working with contractors, engineers, public agencies, and business leaders helping shape the future of transportation infrastructure in New Mexico The Program Director will work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to support APANM's statewide mission of advocacy, education, industry promotion, and member engagement. What You'll Do Industry Programs & Leadership Assist the Executive Director in advancing APANM's strategic goals and initiatives Help coordinate and manage association programs, meetings, and member services Support leadership communications with members, agencies, and stakeholders Help grow and strengthen industry partnerships and member engagement Assist with committee coordination and organizational operations Conferences, Training & Events Help plan and coordinate APANM educational seminars and technical training programs Assist in organizing the Southwest Asphalt Conference & Equipment Show (SW ACES) Coordinate event logistics, sponsorships, exhibitor relations, and communications Support outreach to public agencies, municipalities, contractors, and industry partners Communications & Industry Promotion Assist with newsletters, email campaigns, social media, website updates, and public communications Help promote APANM programs, services, events, and advocacy initiatives Support media outreach and industry awareness efforts Help develop marketing materials and member communications Advocacy & Relationship Building Work with industry leaders, contractors, engineers, and government agencies Help strengthen relationships with NMDOT, local governments, and elected officials Support APANM's mission of advancing safe, durable, and sustainable asphalt infrastructure in New Mexico What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: highly organized and self-motivated professional and dependable an excellent communicator comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines relationship-oriented and collaborative experienced in event coordination, communications, or association management passionate about helping organizations grow and succeed Experience in: event planning communications or marketing trade associations public relations construction, infrastructure, engineering, or transportation industries is a plus.
