Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This role provides strategic leadership in advancing student support and success by championing student advocacy, guiding complex student concerns, and ensuring coordinated response to crisis situations through effective referral networks. It directs the vision, design, and assessment of comprehensive programming and educational initiatives, fostering collaboration with campus and system partners and leveraging data to evaluate impact and inform continuous improvement. Engages in collaborative teamwork with Program Specialists across the department, contributing to creating department priorities through collaboration, clear and open communication, and mutual support. Is able to work with differing work styles, and addresses conflict constructively to support effective work relationships. The position leads talent development by supervising, mentoring, and evaluating student employees, graduate assistants, and interns, while shaping recruitment strategies to attract and retain a diverse and high-performing team. It oversees operational management of the office, including budget planning and resource allocation, space utilization, and process optimization to ensure effectiveness and sustainability. Additionally, the role serves as a key liaison for campus-community engagement, cultivating strategic partnerships, leading training and capacity-building efforts, and amplifying institutional priorities through integrated communications and outreach strategies that promote cultural awareness and student engagement.
Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree + 4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree + 2 years of relevant experience.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Physical Effort:
